Letitia Wright thinks dating is a "waste of time"

The 26-year-old actress laughed off suggestions from her friend John Boyega that she goes out looking for a romantic partner, even after he explained he was doing the same thing in order to find a "wife"

She said: "I was like, ‘John man, it’s a waste of my time! Like date for what? Do you date?’ He replied, ‘Tish, man, of course, I date! I need to scout my wife!’ "

And John isn't the only famous friend concerned about the 'Black Panther' star's personal life as Naomie Harris has urged her to start planning to have a family.

Letitia told Net-a-Porter's magazine Porter: "She was just like, ‘Sis, I’m gonna tell you now, do not just work, work, work…”

However, 'Black Panther' director Ryan Coogler is more concerned about her professional goals as he wants Letitia to launch a rap career.

She admitted: "He texted me a couple of months ago, ‘Tish, man, the streets need that mixtape’."

The 'Small Axe' actress admitted she finds it "difficult" to find a partner so struggled to identify with her character in a recent collaboration with writer-director Dominic Savage for his 'I Am' series.

She said: "We had a conversation and I was like, ‘I don’t get it! I’m successful, I’ve got all of these things going on for me, but finding the person that’s for me is proving… difficult…’

"We literally wrapped on Friday, so it’s still messing with me!”
