It's hoped school zone changes in Auckland result in a more diverse environment for students

It's hoped school zone changes in Auckland result in a more diverse environment for students

The Ministry of Education is looking to introduce or alter 135 enrolment zones in Auckland over three years -- to save money and cope with growth.

Chief Executive of Comet Auckland Susan Warren says having more families go to their local school ... will let kids engage with a range of people.

She says it's not just about maths, science and literature -- but how we work with people who think differently to us -- and how we understand them.
