    An ideal curtain-raiser to fight night

    That's how boxer Junior Fa's treating his foray onto the basketball court on November 26 for a Breakers charity match to raise money for the Starship Foundation.

    His heavyweight bout against Joseph Parker's on December 11 is at the same venue.

    Fa says this gives him a chance to set a few defensive screens before he starts throwing shots from outside the paint.



    Other participants include former Silver Fern Irene Van Dyk, ,Olympians Eric Murray and Zoi Sadowski Synnott, UFC champion Israel Adesanya and Warriors captain Roger Tuivasa-Sheck.
