Eighteen people have been arrested and three police officers hurt, after more anti-lockdown protests in central London

Hundreds of demonstrators made their way through the British capital with banners and placards, calling for freedom and an end to Covid-19 restrictions.

Crowds gathered outside Buckingham Palace, before making their way to Trafalgar Square.

At least two people were led away in handcuffs from the square, and there was disruption on Westminster Bridge, as officers tried to disperse crowds.

Three officers suffered minor injuries following clashes with protesters.

Under current regulations, no one can participate in an outdoor gathering of more than six people in the UK.
