Kyle Flanagan has confirmed his departure from the Sydney Roosters

Kyle Flanagan has confirmed his departure from the Sydney Roosters

    - article from www.rugbyleague.co.nz

The halfback's expected to sign a long-term NRL deal with Canterbury after leaving one season into a two-year deal.

Flanagan joined the Roosters from Cronulla last year as a replacement for the retired Cooper Cronk.

He's paid the price after the back-to-back premiers were ousted from this year's finals by Canberra.
