The second person charged after an investigation into the New Zealand First Foundation has pleaded not guilty

The defendant has appeared in the North Shore District Court on a single charge of obtaining by deception.

They pleaded not guilty and have been remanded on bail, with conditions not to contact any listed Serious Fraud Office witnesses until another hearing next month.

The first defendant -- also facing the same charge -- also pleaded not guilty yesterday, and was also remanded on bail until next month.

Both defendants have name suppression, and the courts have postponed any arguments about suppression until next month's hearing.
