Jenson Button’s son had to be rushed to hospital after suffering a seizure

Sharing the health emergency on Instagram, Brittny wrote: "The Button family didn’t have the best Halloween. Poor little Hendrix ended up having a febrile seizure Saturday afternoon after a sudden spike in temperature.”

The family hope that by speaking out about their son’s health they can help to raise awareness so other families don’t suffer the same fate.

She continued: "We would like to bring more awareness to febrile seizures, they are much more common than we realised. They often happen to infants when there’s a sudden spike in temperature and it’s the body’s response trying to regulate itself.

“If you don’t know, when a child is having a febrile seizure it’s best to keep them cool as possible and DO NOT cover them up. It’s also best to lay them on their side so they don’t choke on their saliva.”

It comes after the infant underwent for his hip dysplasia - where the hip socket doesn’t cover ball of the upper thighbone - when he was just eight-months-old.

His parents shared images of him wearing casts on his legs following the operation to assure fans Hendrix was "doing well".

However, Hendrix is already feeling “much better” after his visit to the hospital as he was back to his “playful self”.

Brittny added: "Hendrix is doing much better today and is seemingly back to his playful self.

"Thank you to everyone who helped us in this scary situation and everyone who reached out making sure he was ok."
