A renewed call to reduce the number of fast-food outlets in New Zealand suburbs

It comes as a worldwide study shows children aged 5 to 19 years old in New Zealand are gaining more weight, and becoming less healthy, than children in many other countries.
Former boxer Dave Letele who's founded an organisation to help whanau live healthier lives, says children are surrounded by fast food chains and cheap food.
He says he wants a rule around the number of fast-food outlets allowed in each suburb, or a scheme that forces them to reinvest into the community.
