The Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra the APO says the fact that over 4 million people from 29 countries watched it's streamed events through lockdown is proof it represents the city on the global stage.
Featured New Zealand soloists in next year's APO concerts include pianist Michael Houstoun in his final year of performance before retirement.
Violinists Benjamin Morrison, Natalia Lomeiko and Benjamin Baker will be on stage, as will bass-baritone Teddy Tahu Rhodes and sopranos Kirstin Sharpin and Natasha Wilson.
The APO will also be championing the work of female composers next year, including New Zealanders Dame Gillian Whitehead and Ruby Solly.
