Mark Wright didn't know who Michelle Keegan was when they first met

The former reality star turned presenter recalled how he only first found out about his now-wife when he was alerted by a friend that she called him "fit" during a red carpet interview

He said: "The way she came to my attention, I never knew who Michelle was when I started and someone said to me, 'you know that Michelle Keegan did an interview on the red carpet and she was asked about you and said, 'He's fit but he knows it.' So I went 'who is Michelle Keegan?' I googled her and went, 'phwoar', so that brought her to my attention and I thought I'd like to take her out. At first I didn't chase it because she was just a pretty girl. When I got to know her, I realised what a special person she is and what a nice person she is."

However, Mark knew from very early doors that he wanted to be with her forever and regularly told his relatives that he would be "making that girl his wife" one day.

Speaking on Shopping With Keith Lemon, he added: "As soon as I got to know her, after seeing her two or three times, I said to my cousin, 'I'm making that girl my wife'. He said, 'Mark, you've only just met her.' I said, 'trust me, she's got everything and here we are today.'"
