    Beyonce is among the most nominated artists for the 2021 Grammy Awards with nine nominations to her name

    The 39-year-old singer has dominated the nominations for the upcoming awards ceremony, which will take place on January 31, after nominations were revealed on Tuesday (24.11.20)


    Beyonce’s nominations included two nods in the Record of the Year category, where her song ‘Black Parade’ will go head-to-head with ‘Savage’ by Megan Thee Stallion, which she featured on.

    The star is also on the shortlist in the Song of the Year category, as well as Best R&B Performance, Best R&B song, Best Music Video, and Best Music Film.

    She will also be included in two further nominations for ‘Savage’, which picked up nods for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song.

    Elsewhere, Taylor Swift scooped six nominations, with her latest album ‘Folklore’ nominated for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album, whilst its lead single ‘Cardigan’ picked up nods for Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance.

    She also landed a nod in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category with her track ‘Exile’, which featured Bon Iver, whilst her final nomination came in the Best Song Written For Visual Media category, where she made the shortlist for the ‘Cats’ track ‘Beautiful Ghosts’.

    Meanwhile, K-Pop megastars BTS have made history yet again by being the first K-Pop group to be nominated for a major award, as their smash hit track ‘Dynamite’ landed them a Best Pop Duo/Group Performance nod.

    Other stars who scored multiple nominations include Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Post Malone, and Doja Cat.
