Ferrari team principal Mattia Binotto confirms the team will support a freeze on Formula One engine regulations starting in 2022, which will allow Red Bull to continue using Honda engines

Honda is set to bow out of the sport at the end of the 2021 season leaving Red Bull and AlphaTauri looking for a new supply.

Red Bull's preferred option is to acquire the intellectual property of the Honda power unit, but say it would only be financially viable if expensive engine development was frozen.

Ferrari had been against the move, but Binotto says the Italian manufacturer has changed its mind.
