Kate Ferdinand feels like she's been pregnant "for about five years"

The 29-year-old star is due to give birth to her first child with husband Rio Ferdinand - who already has Lorenz,, 14, Tate, 12, and nine-year-old Tia with late first wife Rebecca – in the next few weeks and she admitted it’s seemed like she’s been expecting for so long, she can barely remember what she did in the early days of her pregnancy

Asked about her fitness regime, she said: "I think I trained for the first eight weeks - it feels like I've been pregnant for about five years. Then I think I stopped because I felt sick and I didn't start again until the second trimester.

“Then I got back into Pilates and really enjoyed that. It helped with my back. I just felt like I was doing something.

"I launched [YouTube channel] 'Ferdinand Fitness' with Rio then found out I was pregnant, so that was bad timing."

And Kate admitted it was the online outlet that gave away her pregnancy to friends.

She explained to new! magazine: "It was lockdown, so I was quite lucky that I wasn't seeing anyone.

"But quite a lot of my friends said they already knew, because after 'Ferdinand Fitness' launched I stopped working out. So they had a feeling I was pregnant. "It's been quite nice in a sense because I haven't had to cancel loads of plans and life is a bit more relaxed in lockdown.

"I didn't have to [go out and] pretend to anyone, so that was quite good."
