The Wellington Phoenix have completed their recruitment for the upcoming season with the signing of a former Premier League striker

33-year-old Israeli international Tomer Hemed has joined the Nix on a one-year deal.

Hemed played for Brighton in the Premier League two years ago and hopes to be the final piece in the Phoenix's jigsaw as they seek a maiden A-League title...

The Phoenix now have 21 players signed for the new season, which starts on December 27.
