All Whites coach Danny Hay believes club football in New Zealand has being going down the wrong path

All Whites coach Danny Hay believes club football in New Zealand has being going down the wrong path

New Zealand Football's disbanded the National League from next season, replacing it with Northern, Central and Southern divisions.

The top sides from each will play a championship round at the end of the season and all teams must include two under-20 players in their starting elevens.

Hay says clubs have become too heavily focussed on winning.

Liverpool's qualified top of its group for the Champions League round of 16 after a 1-nil win over Dutch side Ajax

Manchester City has secured top spot in its group after a goal less draw at Porto.

The pull of home has led Bryn Gatland to sign with the Chiefs

The 25 year old has signed a three year deal, having been previously involved with the Blues and Highlanders.

Gatland says his agent was fielding inquiries from a various teams.
