Experts are blaming travel restrictions for the shrink in our economy

Compared to 2019, the New Zealand economy has shrunk three per cent.
Spending is up within the majority of retail sectors, with some even seeing an increase.
But ASB chief economist Nick Tuffley says the slight hole is down to the border restrictions.
He says we earn so much more from the tourists that come into New Zealand than we pay away when travelling overseas.
