Police are still looking for people connected to multiple shootings in Otara about two weeks ago

A 24-year-old man is in custody in Auckland -- after police discovered three firearms, ammunition and a quantity of explosives at a Manurewa address.

Otara-Papatoetoe Local Board Chairperson Lotu Fuli says no one in the community wants this sort of violence.

She says families and police need to work together -- and if that means dobbing people in, then that needs to happen.
