13 December 2020
The Pacific Agreement on Closer Economic Relations Plus is set up to encourage economic recovery from Covid-19.
It's hoped to open-up opportunities - for goods produced in the region to be sold within the Pacific and globally.
New Zealand's also put forward funding to help Pacific countries build capacity and infrastructure which will support trade.
