Two investigators will arrive at Napier Port today to look into a fire on board a cargo vessel yesterday morning

Thick black smoke blew across the city when the blaze broke out in one of the Singapore-registered ship's holds around 11am.
The Transport Accident Investigation Commission has now launched an inquiry into the causes and circumstances.
Chief Investigator of Accidents Harald Hendel says initial work will include interviewing witnesses and inspecting the ship's hold, once it's reopened, along with its contents and other parts of the ship when it's safe to do so.
