The mad rush to get a Playstation Five before Christmas continues

The mad rush to get a Playstation Five before Christmas continues

    TradeMe
    TradeMe
The new gaming console is sold out nationwide, leaving gamers with no choice but to buy from marketplace sellers.

At retail price, the standard console is worth 819 dollars, while the digital version is worth 649 dollars.

But scalpers are jacking up prices by nearly double, with some listings on TradeMe asking for up to 2500 dollars.

Jordan Nelson-Fussell caved in and purchased one from a seller on Facebook for 1350 dollars, and says it was his only option.

He says his sister got one and he didn't want to be one-upped, and he had heard they wouldn't be around after Christmas, or even until March.
