A call for drivers to be cautious of motorcyclists this festive season

New Zealand is approaching another devastating year for motorcyclists... for the second year in a row.
This year 55 Kiwis have died in motorcycle accidents.
In 2019, 56 riders died - the worst toll since 1997, when 57 were killed.
Director of road safety charity, Brake, Caroline Perry, says motorcycles can be hard to spot ... and road users need to check for bikes in their mirrors and blind spots.
