A bitter reality for the first home buyer

The Real Estate Institute's annual review of the housing market shows Kiwis spent 12 billion dollars more on domestic property than in 2019.
It also found first home buyers have become more active, but Chief Executive Bindi Norwell says it's not sustainable.
She says if prices keep rising significantly more than wages, it just gets harder for people.
