In the US, and although Congress has passed a 900-billion-US-dollar Covid-19 relief package, millions of Americans are in danger of losing benefits if Donald Trump continues to refuse to sign the bill

The legislation would extend two pandemic unemployment programmes and provide the jobless with a 300-dollar weekly boost through mid-March.
It also includes one-off payments of 600-dollars and allow small businesses the ability to apply for loans.
The package would extend eviction protection and enhance food stamp benefits.
