Moana Pasifika have presented a new business case to New Zealand Rugby after revelations of a funding hole for their proposed 2022 Super Rugby entry

The Herald's obtained a feasibility report that reveals a 25-point-nine-four million dollar funding shortfall, and a 20-point-three-nine million deficit for the team's likely 2022 launch.
The report states player payments would be 10-point-zero-five million - double the respective five New Zealand Super Rugby teams.
It's also been revealed there's an expectation for six and a half million dollars in competition contributions and broadcast revenue.
Since the initial report, Moana Pasifika have worked with New Zealand Rugby executive Chris Lendrum and consultant Jeremy Curragh , holding weekly meetings to amend the holes.
