    Police are seeking witnesses to a fight in Palmerston North last Sunday that left a man in critical condition


    The fight involving several people broke out in the early hours of December 27 on Broadway Avenue.

    A man in his early twenties was knocked unconscious, then kicked in the head as he lay on the ground.

    He was transferred to Wellington Hospital, where he underwent surgeries for his injuries.

    He remains in intensive care, while Police continue to make enquiries.
