    A woman in her 70s has died following a water incident on Auckland's North Shore

    A woman in her 70s has died following a water incident on Auckland's North Shore


    Emergency services were called to the incident on Island Bay Road in Beach Haven at about 6.40 tonight.

    The woman was pulled from the water by members of the public and ambulance staff attempted to provide medical attention, but were unsuccessful.

    Her death will be referred to the Coroner.
