    A Blenheim man will appear in the district court today -- in relation to a hit and run on Christmas Day


    A 17-year-old boy was struck by a car in Blenheim, about 11.45pm, and the driver fled the scene.

    Police charged a 21 year old with dangerous driving and wounding with intent -- following a search at a local house.

    Items of interest were also seized from the Blenheim property.
