A year of training has done canoe slalom athlete Luuka Jones a world of good leading into the Tokyo Games

A year of training has done canoe slalom athlete Luuka Jones a world of good leading into the Tokyo Games

It will be the 32-year-old's fourth Olympics, and she's looking to better her result in Rio four years ago, where she claimed the K1 silver medal.

This year, Jones is competing in the K1 event as well as the women's C1 discipline, which is making its Olympic debut..

She says being at home in 2020 was an advantage, with Auckland's Vector White Water Park just down the road.
