    It might not be the best night year of the year to be out camping in the South Island


    A burst of heavy rain is expected to lash the Westland Ranges, Northern Fiordland, the Buller Ranges, Northwest Nelson and the Richmond Range.

    MetService expects it'll be coming down hard from about 4 tomorrow morning...and lasting all through the day.
