Yanni Wetzell plans to maintain the pursuit for perfection after a strong start to his professional basketball career

The kiwi forward made his Australian Basketball League debut for the South East Melbourne Phoenix during their season-opening loss to the Adelaide 36ers, scoring 24 points and pulling in 11 rebounds.

Wetzell says a big thing he wants to improve on is becoming more available on offence.

    The Phoenix face Perth tonight.
