The Wellington Phoenix are mulling the makeup of their midfield for tonight's A-League match against Newcastle in Wollongong

The Phoenix are without suspended midfielder Alex Rufer after his red against Macarthur FC.

Phoenix coach Ufuk Talay says Matthew Ridenton and Te Atawhai Hudson-Wihongi can easily slot in Rufer's position.
