Raising awareness around a Kiwi barbecue favourite

A study from the Stroke Foundation has discovered many supermarket sausages contain high levels of salt.
Stroke Foundation health manager Julia Rout says it's shocking to find a single sausage can contain almost half the recommended level of daily salt intake.
She says salt can create high blood pressure - a leading risk factor for stroke.
