Former All Black hooker James Parsons has retired from rugby on medical advice

The 34-year-old has been out of the game several months with a head injury.
Parsons played two tests, and finishes as the fourth highest capped Blue with 115 games, sitting behind Keven Mealamu, Jerome Kaino and Tony Woodcock.
He also featured 106 times for North Harbour.
