Hamish Kerr wants to make the most of just being able to compete again

The Kiwi high jumper is in the midst of a busy summer schedule, where he's at times competing twice a week.
With a personal best of 2.30 metres, Kerr's aiming to reach the Olympic qualification mark of 2 metres 33 at the national track and field championships in Hastings in March.
He says the home calendar's also allowing him to try different things.
