The United Kingdom's desire to join the CPTPP trade deal could strengthen our position on the world stage

The UK will seek to join the 11 nation free trade agreement today.

Export New Zealand Executive Director Catherine Beard says it's good news for everyone involved.

She says with the UK onboard, the CPTPP increasingly looks like a group that you wouldn't NOT want to be involved in.
