Official data suggests one in ten two year olds in some areas don't get vaccinated against deadly diseases, because their parents say no.
Ninety per cent of the country is willing to get necessary vaccines, and foreseeing how successful the Covid19 vaccine will be, is unknown.
Vaccinologist Helen Petousis-Harris says those who say no are selfish.
She says you're not only putting the health of your family at risk, but also that of others.
The lowest rates of vaccine decline are in Canterbury and Auckland.
