The company faces losing a 20 million dollar trawler in a decision being considered by a Christchurch District Court judge, after being caught in 2017 and 2018.
Te Korowai o Te Tai o Marokura's chairwoman Rachel Vaughan says protected areas on the sea bottom need to be respected.
