The pain of the Longest Day in the Katmandu Coast to Coast might be eased a little for the second and third placed athletes

The pain of the Longest Day in the Katmandu Coast to Coast might be eased a little for the second and third placed athletes

Race Director Glen Currie says while the winner's cheque remains at 10-thousand, they've bumped up second and third.

An extra $1,500 will be given to each of the second and third place getters in both the men's and women's longest day competitions.

This takes third place to $2,500 and second to $4,500.
