Alice Robinson's encouraged by her training performances against Tessa Worley heading into tonight's world championships Giant Slalom in Cortina

The 19-year-old more than matched it with the French skiier who sits second in the World Cup standings and won the most recent World Cup Giant Slalom.

Robinson says beating Worley in practice has given her confidence.

Piera Hudson's the other Kiwi in the lineup.

    First run is at 10pm.
