    It has No licence, no registration -- but it's just fetched more than $40-thousand dollars on Trade Me

    The Toyota Land Cruiser which has spent most of its life on the snow-blanketed Scott Base -- is heading to its new home.

    Online bidding for the 17-year-old four wheel drive closed this evening.

    The snow-white truck, with 40 thousand kilometres on the clock -- was used to transport people and cargo around the base, and on the ice shelf.
