It's a relieved Leon MacDonald after the Blues final preseason outing in Cambridge this afternoon

MacDonald watched his side beat the Crusaders 26-19 and Chiefs 14-7 in the game of three halves.

He says things looked grim at the start of the week with Auckland moving to lockdown level three.

The Blues face the Hurricanes in a week to open their Super Rugby Aotearoa campaign.
