She may have had to settle for second place, but Jennifer Brady knows she belongs

The American has gone down to Japanese-born Naomi Osaka in the Australian Open women's final in straight sets 6-4, 6-3.

It was Brady's first ever Grand Slam decider.

She says she had a distinct feeling when coming off court at the end.

For Osaka, she now has four Grand Slam titles and two in Melbourne.
