Spark's had an 11.4 percent fall in net profit after tax, to 148 million dollars, for the six months to the end of December

The telco's revenue has fallen 1.5 percent to 1.77 billion dollars.

It's blamed Covid-19 for the revenue fall.

Spark says it's lost around 26 million dollars in high margin mobile roaming revenue, due to ongoing travel restrictions and border closures.

Its lower-margin pre-pay mobile business was hit by net migration falling around 44 thousand in the first half of the financial year.
