NZME has pulled through a tough financial year with a 14.2-million dollar profit after tax

The company's grown three percent in operating earnings, up to more than 67-million dollars.
That's despite an almost 50 per cent drop in ad revenue when the shock of Covid-19 first hit.
As an essential service keeping Kiwis in the know -- NZME accessed 8.6-million dollars in wage subsidy.
Cost saving schemes reduced expenses by 14 per cent, resulting in a final revenue loss of just 11 per cent.
More than 3.3-million people tune in to NZME's print, radio and digital platforms.
