The former world number one has carded a seven under 65 to lead the Gainbridge tournament in Orlando by two shots after the first round.
Making the most of playing the tournament on her home course, the 23 year old opened with an eagle and fired six birdies and a solitary bogey.

Ko last won in April 2018 but had four top ten finishes last year and showed signs she was returning to the form that saw her win two majors as a teenager.
