    Every dog has its day...out

    Every dog has its day...out

An event is being held in Invercargill today to help raise money for Kiwi pet health research.

Healthy Pets Chair Cath Watson says there's a lot of international research - but not much specific to New Zealand.

She says there are some things that are unique to us - such as our population of working dogs compared to the rest of the world.

Watson says there's also a lot of diseases overseas that a lot of money get put into that we don't have here, like rabies, yet we have other problems.
