In 1992 Robin James Pitney was jailed for the murder of 11-year-old Leif Wulff in Timaru.
Pitney was just 15.
The parole board says he has tested positive for methamphetamine -- in breach of his bail conditions.
Pitney claims it was a botched test.
He'll be back up for parole in June.
