A leading women's rugby advocate is calling on the national governing body to make the most of a proposed World Cup delay by investing more in the female game

World Rugby's looking to push the 12-team tournament back by a year due to Covid-19 complications - it's scheduled for September and October.
Wellington representative Alice Soper welcomes the delay which should help amateurs with their annual leave and ease the qualifying process.
However, she says NZR needs to do more to increase interest.
