    Napier Police will be ramping up their presence at the scene of an alleged fatal stabbing


    Emergency services were called to Pandora's Mersey Street about 1.20pm yesterday after reports of a serious assault in the area.

    St John Ambulance staff treated an injured man at the scene, but he died several hours later at Hawke's Bay Hospital.

    Anyone with information should contact police on 105 .
