The Warriors have been blown away by the Roosters in their NRL match in Sydney

The Warriors have been blown away by the Roosters in their NRL match in Sydney

    - article from www.rugbyleague.co.nz

The Mount Smart club were competitive in the first 40 trailing 16-12 at the break, before the tri-colours ran in three second half tries to record a comfortable 32-12 win.

The Breakers have faded down the stretch, going down to the South East Melbourne Phoenix 92-85 in their Australian NBL game.

The Kiwi side came from behind to lead by two entering the fourth quarter, before being outscored by nine.

Ryan Fox believes he may have a new good luck charm after his triumph at the Gulf Harbour Open in Whangaparaoa.

Fox has won by seven shots after carding a course-record 10-under par final round of 62, to finish at 23-under.

He says to have a first win in front of his daughter Isabel was special.
